Silverlake commits to fifth straight season as C1 Racing Series title sponsor

Since 2021, Silverlake has helped reshape the C1 Racing paddock by introducing recycled automotive parts into competition, an initiative that has grown steadily as teams balance tight budgets with increasing pressure to reduce environmental impact.

The company’s support extends far beyond branding. Silverlake attends race meetings with parts, equipment and technical backup, ensuring teams can stay competitive throughout demanding endurance events.

A key figure in the paddock is Greg Rose, head of the Silverlake race team, whose 30+ years of motorsport experience have made him a trusted source of advice on car set-up, problem solving and race strategy for teams throughout the field.  Meanwhile, Kevin Hayter and Nacho Gonzalez-Yamada are driving forward C1 parts procurement to ensure a consistent quality service both trackside and via the new Silverlake website www.silverlake.co.uk

Robin Welsh from the C1 Racing Club said:

“It’s great to have the security of such a strong, powerful sponsor, giving the Club financial stability. Silverlake’s sustainability focus is a fantastic fit with our mission, and our members know Silverlake will have their backs at race meetings to help keep them on the track.”

Allen Prebble, Managing Director at Silverlake Automotive Recycling, added:

“C1 Racing proves that motorsport can be affordable, accessible and responsible. Those values match our own, helping people stay safe on the roads using cost-effective, quality-graded, warranty-assured recycled parts that make vehicle maintenance cheaper and more sustainable.”
