Tyre Health Checks

Worn tyres are a huge risk on the roads, because a tyre in poor condition will have a detrimental effect on your car’s braking and steering.  In winter conditions if you don’t have enough tread in your tyres then you’ll have poor wet grip performance.

Our tyre inspections, including spare tyres as standard, are designed to give you complete confidence.  They include overall condition, tread depth, tyre load rating, tyre balancing, any uneven wear and tear that may indicate poor wheel alignment and pressures, plus tyre stepping which can indicate poor suspension damping.  Wheels are also checked for signs of buckling.

The legal limit for tyre tread depth is 1.6mm.  We advise customers to consider replacing tyres between 2-3mm tread depth, to ensure you have as much tyre performance as possible in all conditions.

Battery Health Checks

Don’t be a break-down statistic, or face being late for work or the school run because your car won’t start.  Cold temperatures affect the chemical process inside a vehicle battery and reduce its ability to hold a charge. Our battery health check helps identify any underlying faults with a battery before it becomes an issue, giving you peace of mind that your car’s battery is in good working order.
